기아자동차에서 부사장으로 퇴임한 신 도철사장이 중국의 모 회사 총경리로 초빙되어 오는 8월10일 중국으로 떠난다. 그를 위해 점심자리를 광화문 세종문화회관 뒷편 샤브샤브집에서 가졌다. 식사후에는 새롭게 태어난 세종로를 돌아보았다. 구경 나온 사람들 표정이 모두 밝아 보인다. <아래사진 품질이 안좋다.>
Mr. Shin Do-chul, former EVP & COO of Kia Motors plant is recently hired by a Chinese company as CEO. He is leaving Korea on August 10 to get his new job in China. I invited him and other former colleagues for a lunch at a restaurant near Sejong-no, the center of old Seoul. As you might have noticed to see the pictures below, the street was completly renovated and the central reserve area of the broad avenue became a public park.
앞에 보이는 동상이 이순신 장군 동상이다. 동상 밑으로 터널이 생겨 그 안에 해치광장이 있어 볼거리를 전시해 놓았다.
Under the statue of the Naval Admiral Sunshin Lee of Yi dynasty, the Seoul Metropolis built an underground exhibition hall to display various historical records of city Hanseong - old Seoul of the dynasty.
이곳에서 데모를 하겠다는 건가? 그런 사람들의 정신을 이해할 수가 없다.

The three gentlemen. All of these guys retired the company as EVP 3 to 4 years ago and are doing own business or enjoying their retirement life.
구경나온 사람들 모두 행복해 보인다. 이런 시민의 휴식, 문화의 광장을 [표현의 자유]라는 허울로 데모의 광장으로 사용할 수 있어야 한다는 반시민적인 무리가 이곳에서 기자회견을 했다는 소리를 듣고 많이 걱정했다. 그런 일은 엄격하게 법으로 다스려야 한다고 생각한다.

이조시대의 의상을 차려입은 사람을 만났다. 사진을 찍자고 하니 흔쾌히 응해준다. 포천에서 왔다는 이분 얼마나 좋았으면 이렇게 차려입고 왔을까 하는 생각이 든다.
그런데 니조시대에 니콘카메라와 우산이 있었는지 모르겠다. 이분이 양손에 들고있는 것
