3박4일 제주여행

지난 16일에 제주도에 3박4일로 다녀왔다. 바람 좀 쐬고 왔다. 당초 계획은 한라산 백록담까지 갔다 올 예정이었지만 같이 간 내자가 너무 힘들어 해서 되돌아 내려올 수 밖에 없었던.. 화산섬이기에 사방을 둘러 봐도 검은 화산 용암석뿐이다. 모든사진 클릭하면 질 좋게 감상할 수있다.
I went to Jeju, a volcanic island and Korea's only sub-tropical area, for 3 nites and 4 days trip with my wife, a close friend of mine and his wife. A part of my plan was to climb the Halla mountain which is an extinct volcano but I had to give it up in the middle of the way  due to my wife complained a keen pain in her leg. The above is the condominium where we stayed for three nights and the below is sunset of Hamduk beach. It is not exaggeration if I say that the whole island is made of molten rocks. The island is all covered by black rocks which is lava if not covered by ash or soil.

성판악에서 오르는 길은 잠시 이런 삼(杉)나무 숲을 지난다. 그러나 이내 아무 쓸모 없는 잡목으로 뒤덮인 잡목지대를 한참 지나야 한다. 우리도 당초 국토 녹화사업에 수종을 잘 선택했더라면 일본과 같이 삼나무(스기나무)로 녹화를 이룰 수 있었을텐데..
On the way up to the summit from Seongpanak base there are Japaneses cedar in some area but most of the trail are covered by such coppice.
